What IS my job?

Today, I was asked what my job was. I was left voiceless.

It’s hard to give a straight answer. At the moment, I spend two-thirds of my working days writing engaging resources for French students who, for a variety of reasons, need a different approach to learning and teaching. I’ve been doing this for ten years, and long may it last. I adore this job—it’s creative, rewarding, satisfying, and useful.

With the remaining third of my time, I dedicate myself to the activities you’ll find on this website: philosophy workshops for kids, teenagers, young adults, and adults, as well as consulting for leaders and entrepreneurs.

The common thread in all these activities? A love of words, a love of people, and a love of wisdom. So—logophilia, philanthropia, and… philosophy!
